Each year patients will be offered a comprehensive physical exam. Adults who get annual physicals are more likely to discover potential health complications before they become serious and they are more aware of the importance of lifestyle choices and how they affect overall well-being. EKG, urinalysis will be performed along with stroke, low bone mass and autonomic nervous system function as indicated (usually every 1-3 years for each test). Overall health assessment, goals and improvement will take place at the end of the annual exam.

This in non-invasive office procedure takes 15-20 minutes and involves the patient lying on a comfortable bed. Our DEXA machine not only measure bone mass at the hip and spine but also screens most of the vertebrae in the spine to detect if they are compressing or not.
